Job Listing: Software Engineers, many openings in San Diego - C++, L

We have an urgent need to staff multiple software engineer positions in San Diego, CA.

These positions are long-term (6 months to a 2 years contract).

The main requirements for this position are hands-on experience writing code in C++ and must come from a Unix / Linux environment.

Duties:

Will design and develop creative software solutions for ground control station systems. Design and development include graphical displays, data acquisition, user interface development, communications, human factors, and networking applications. Will also design and develop Linux based software using object oriented techniques with C++ in a team environment. Design and utilize XML schemas for automation, Python scripting for code generation.


Required Skills


B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering discipline a plus.

1 - 7 years of experience.

Must have Linux / Unix experience.

Strong C++ skills required including use and understanding of templates, smart pointers and threading.

Strong background in object oriented design and development.

Ability to acquire a US secret clearance.

Must have the ability to interface with customers and work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Experience in any of the following specialized areas:

3-D graphic development, OpenGL, TCP/IP, mapping and Geographic Information Systems. C++ library experience including Qt, STL, and Boost. Understanding of interpreted object oriented languages such as Java or C#.
