Job Responsibilities include:
When needed write new automation scripts (C#)
Using C#, Implement new tools to make the process run smoother
Profile hardware and compare resource usage results to look for problems in the product.
Review the automation and data collection process to suggest or develop improvements.
Provide support for the performance team in data collection and analysis.
Do web development for report generation as needed using ASP.NET and SQL.
Help out with automation runs when needed.

Required Skills
Required Skills for this Software Design Engineer in Test position include the following:
Client Performance Testing experience (for example performance testing for an application like Outlook, Exchange or Office).
Strong application coding skills (C++, C#).
Knowledge of managing and configuring Windows (comfortable with registry, services, drivers, etc.)
A fundamental understanding of computer architecture.
Strong reasoning and analysis skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Comfort with learning new tools and adapting to changing situations.
Good problem solving skills.
Must be a self-starter.
Good communication skills are required.
Bonus Skills:
Prior performance testing experience
Operating System experience
Autobench
Prior hardware experience
Experience working with web services / IIS
Web database development experience
Understanding of .NET application performance and scalability.
