Senior Systems / Applications Analyst Oracle Applications, Troubleshooting
Direct Hire Position
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in achieving the following objectives:
Design, develop and program, test, troubleshoot, document and implement new applications, interfaces and systems in support of the Oracle eBusiness suite of applications including Projects, Grants Accounting, Property Manager, Enterprise Asset Management, Financials and Supply Chain applications and data warehouse.
Ensure complex Administrative Systems support for current users and future operations.
Evaluate processes, user requirements and system functionality to assist in the selection and implementation of complex systems.

You will be responsible for:
System analysis and design, using your knowledge of application functionality to develop and communicate design alternatives, recommend solutions and communicate restraints to project team and end users. These applications include Oracle Projects, Grants Accounting, GL, AR, FA, AP, PO, Discoverer, and Cognos.
Evaluate and install vendor software including scripts, application programs, forms and report development tools.
Design, develop, program, test and document new applications and systems as well as modifications to existing systems.
Lead implementations and assist in developing project schedules by identifying development tasks, time estimates, functional and technical setups and testing requirements.
Develop reports to ensure efficient processes while reviewing system performance and recommending improvements.
Troubleshoot problems, recommend alternatives, communicate with help desk(s), and complete problem reports.
Help to ensure data integrity and validity of applications and provide on-going support, follow-up and maintenance of existing applications and systems.
Participate in appropriate activities that enhance general knowledge of or ability to do assigned work. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Attend classes, seminars and other training forums
Attend staff meetings and other informational sessions
Read vendor documentation, trade publications, or other sources appropriate to position
Interact with peers and other employees to receive and disseminate information
