Job Listing: Human Resource Clerk
Assists with the administration of teammate benefit plans including health and welfare plans such as: life, health, dental, disability insurance's, and 401(k) plans. Also administers internal policies and monitors for procedure compliance.
*Involves frequent contact with customers inside and outside of the company requiring reasonable tact, discretion, self-expression, and a working knowledge of benefits and company policies and procedures.
*Administration of teammate benefits programs such as: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and 401(k).
*Assists teammates with enrolling into company benefits, verifies eligibility, processes
hard copy enrollment forms.
*Assists with preparation of open enrollment materials and meetings.
*Assists teammates in solving insurance related issues.
*Deals with discrepancies with insurance carriers.
*Answers questions regarding plans and eligibility requirements.
*Processes all qualifying events (change of status during non-open enrollment).
*Processes all tuition reimbursements and gym reimbursements.
*Orders flowers for teammates as needed.
*Sends out baby books to teammates with newborns.
*Special Projects as assigned.

Required Skills
*A Bachelors degree in related field and/or related benefits experience is required.
*Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies. *Ability to write business correspondence.
*Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers or other teammates.
*Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
*Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
*Previous SAP HR module experience is a plus.
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
*Must be a self-starter and able to work well independently.
