Duty Location:  1 vacancy at Harry S Truman National Historic Site, Independence, Missouri

Major Duties

This position is located in the administrative division at Harry S Truman National Historic Site (HSTR) Independence, Missouri. The position is supervised by the administrative officer. The incumbent serves as assistant to provide information technology support and other administrative support functions to all divisions in meeting program goals. This is a permanent full-time position. Major duties of the position include: Administrative support and general office services, office management, files management, travel management, fiscal management, personnel management, payroll, property management, Computer support and Telecommunications support.AREA INFORMATION:  This position is located at Harry S Truman National Historic Site, Independence, Missouri. Harry S Truman was established by public law 98-32 (May 23, 1983) which authorized the National Park Service to acquire the Truman Home in Independence, Missouri and to establish the National Historic Site. Qualifications

GS-06

1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least grade of GS-05.

GS-07

1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade of GS-06.

Specialized Experience includes duties such as:

Independent work in accounting, finance, administrative support and fiscal services, researching and reconciling accounting discrepancies, preparing budget/finance forms and reports, and experience interpreting and applying regulations and directives.

Maintaining network server and local area network (LAN) environment, maintain shared network applications (such as email and Norton Anti virus) and program administration, maintain office equipment, and operate personal computer.

To qualify based on education, submit copy of transcript or list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Application materials will not be returned. You can receive credit for education received outside the United States if you provide evidence that it is comparable to an accredited educational institution in the United States when you apply.
