About the Position: ou will work under the supervision of the Chief of Military Branch, Fort Worth, TX with your duty station location in Fort Polk, LA. The office is located on the Fort Polk Army Installation. There are eating establishments within driving distance of the office providing a cuisine unique to the area. Employees have access to many of the facilities available to the military such as fitness centers, bowling alley, swimming pool, and an Arts & Crafts Center. Local communities include Leesville, Vernon Parrish and Deridder. Leesville has 1 High School, 1 Junior High School and 3 Elementary schools, all accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Northwestern State University, Leesville, Ft Polk is a branch of the Natchitoches campus. Vernon Parish has almost 100 churches, representing every faith and denomination. A wide variety of recreational facilities are conveniently located throughout the city. There are 2 public swimming pools and 5 parks.

Major Duties
As site coordinator between installation customers and USACE activities, you will coordinate support through the Corp of Engineer to the installation for the following: military construction projects, environmental studies, investigations, and restoration, and real estate services. Within the Directorate of Public Works performs a variety of assignments and participates in activities which will enhance both personal and organizational understanding of DPW functions and processes. Assist in the identification and classification of projects, recommend and/or direct efforts to develop project packages and execution strategies, and coordination with elements of the geographic Corps districts in order to meet the needs. Serve as advisor, consultant, integrator, and coordinator for project/programs management, engineering and construction activities. Recommend or take corrective action for engineering and construction related project/program management problems at the installation.
