About the Position: This position is located at the Fort Belvoir Directorate of Information Management , 10105 Gridley Rd, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. This is an Information Technology Operations Office responsible for voice/data networking for communication network services. One can achieve such things as training related to the position; professional development type training; possible promotion based on mission requirements and performance; incentive awards for performance. This is a good working environment. We have flex schedule and adjusted working hours. This is approved by your immediate supervisor when you report to duty.

Major Duties
Develops and coordinates local information processing technical standards, procedures and regulatory guidance. Conducts extensive research and performs analytical studies in support of selection and acquisition actions to support functional area requirements. . Develops local guidance and procedures for implementation of mandatory technical standards. Plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, implementation, and integration of the information technology assets. Prepares solicitation packages for contracts. Reviews technical specifications for bid solicitations. Assists in ensuring vendor compliance with contract provisions. Monitors, evaluates, and coordinates assigned functions and briefs management officials on program status. Documents program purposes, methods, assumptions, and conclusions. Directs preparation or prepares a variety of program reports. Evaluates impacts of new technologies on current systems and policies.

Salary Range: 58,206.00 - 75,669.00 USD per year
