About the Position: The HUMINT Training - Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE), a joint training organization, is a new and dynamic organization which will provide advanced joint human intelligence training and certification in interrogation, debriefing, and military source operations worldwide. The incumbent will receive challenging assignments and be part of a team supporting all levels of the HT-JCOE.

Major Duties

Perform a wide range of tasks in support of network administration; establishing connectivity/monitoring service levels/troubleshooting/restoration. Develop/maintain procedures for networks/system operations/product assembly and installation. Ensure HT-JCOE personnel are aware of operational requirements. Oversee implementation of new/updated operating system hardware and software. Lead network operating system and/or application software projects. Provide ongoing customer support; installation, configuration, troubleshooting, & recovery. Develop policies/procedures for restoration of computers, peripherals, & data. Analyze equipment/software reliability and utilization; establish computer and telecommunication performance levels. Survey/evaluate network usage, user complaints, traffic interruptions, hardware and software capabilities, etc. Identify adverse trends, ineffective practices, equipment shortcomings, etc. Serve as systems security specialist and COMSEC Custodian for HT-JCOE.

General Schedule Specialized Experience: Experience with provided a comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of network design and network architecture principles and concepts. Experience with Network protocols, network operations, management and maintenance methods and concepts. Practical knowledge of telecommunications systems. Experience in COMSEC. In order to be qualifying the specialized experience must be equivalent to the GS/GG-11 level. **Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret /SCI Security Clearance ** May be required to pass a polygraph examination.** Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid AZ state driver's license. ** May be required to execute a classified information Non-Disclosure Agreement.** Drug testing is required** Temporary duty to CONUS locations may constitute up to 30% of duty time.**Must be willing to work overtime and irregular hours.**May be temporarily required to work in adverse environmental conditions.**The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement.One year of experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade or level requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled.GS-12 and above: One year of experience directly related to the occupation and equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. There is no substitution of education for experience at this level.Selectee may be required to pass a polygraph examination.
