Volt Technical Resources currently has opening for a Hydraulic Design Engineer who will be part of a team responsible for fluid lines routing, placing hydraulic components and communicating with various groups within the medium wheel loaders group. To participate in the concept and design of complex machine hydraulic systems for release to production in a manner to ensure that MWL products provide superior performance, reliability, durability, quality, serviceability, and customer satisfaction. The key role of the design engineer is that of contributor to the planning and delivery of a project. This position will be accountable for contributing to the concept, development, and design of complex hydraulic systems, subsystems or design processes. They will use the Pro/E Fluid Lines SDP tool for hose and tube design and routing throughout the entire machine. They will also design associated component installation hardware such as manifolds and brackets. They will communicate any technical information that they gain on a project with the other team members and their team leader.
The major focus of the job is on technical delivery. The engineer may work more directly with different business units, suppliers and other teams. This requires the ability to communicate technical information in a concise and accurate manner. Decisions made will affect the project team and its delivery of the project.

Required Skills
BSME
Minimum 2-3 years of Pro/e design experience.
Experience working with and a good understanding of hydraulics.
Any experience with lines routing, GD &T, and VisView is a big plus.
