Job Listing: Engineer with Pro/E and Hydraulics experience
To participate in the concept and design of complex machine hydraulic systems for release to production in a manner to ensure that MWL products provide superior performance, reliability, durability, quality, serviceability, and customer satisfaction. The key role of a Design Engineer is that of contributor to the planning and delivery of a project. This position will be accountable for contributing to the concept, development, and design of complex hydraulic systems, subsystems or design processes. They will use the Pro/E Fluid Lines SDP tool for hose and tube design and routing throughout the entire machine. They will also design associated component installation hardware such as manifolds and brackets. They will communicate any technical information that they gain on a project with the other team members and their team leader. This position performs system analysis, identifies potential design problems before they exist in iron, conducts design reviews and FMEA’s where appropriate, travels to test facilities to test or validate designs, and resolves problems by clearly communicating the urgency to the appropriate teams. The major focus of the job is on technical delivery. The engineer may work more directly with different business units, suppliers and other teams. This requires the ability to communicate technical information in a concise and accurate manner. Decisions made will affect the project team and its delivery of the project.

Required Skills
Requires an accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience and excellent analytical skills. Incumbents have usually gained 3 to 5 years of experience and are able to perform complex assignments. Requires a self-starter with strong technical skills. Must have ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members, others in the work group, employees in other business units and suppliers.
Highly Desired Pro-E Modeling & Hydraulic Lines Routing Experience. Product Design Experience w/ Heavy Machinery. Familiarity with Hydraulic Systems. Specs/Standards Familiarity. Fluid Lines SDP & GD&T Experience. Sheetmetal & Casting Design Experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
