" Identify technical issues using various procedures
" Convey interest in each customer through courtesy, attentive listening, friendly and caring image
" Apply job knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information
" Assist customers with service selection and schedule appointments
" Ensure service requirements are met through review of technical sessions
" Provide outbound communications to customers and technicians providing company, scheduling and appointment information
" Escalate unresolved customer issues in a timely manner
" Make contributions and participate as a team member by sharing ideas, identifying problems and recommending solutions
" Consistently meet productivity goals
" Proactively respond and process administrative tasks
" Offer upgrades, add-on sales and cross-marketing promotions
" Encourage and support new personnel
" Other duties as directed by management
Competencies / Requirements:
" Good working knowledge of computer systems and familiarity with electronic peripherals
" Outstanding communications, multi-tasking, time-management skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to learn continuously changing service operations
" Effective in overcoming rejections to achieve sales objectives
" Proficiency and/or ability to grasp concepts relating to computer diagnostics relating to software, hardware, and internet connection
" Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet navigation
" Ability to work in a fast growing, rapidly evolving environment
Education / Experience:
" High School Diploma or equivalent required (Candidates failing to provide supporting documentation will not be considered)
" Minimum 1 year of customer service experience within a call center environment required. Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls related to technical support strongly preferred
" Previous work experience with a focus on selling products and/or services highly desirable
