Job Listing: TECHNICAL WRITER/EDITOR



ARE YOU ONE OF THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO TECHNICAL WRITING/EDITING?

DO YOU WANT TO WORK IN A STATE-OF-THE ART ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE FLOW OF INFORMATION CHANGES CONSTANTLY?

IF SO, VOLT IS LOOKING FOR YOU TO FILL THIS POSITION. READ BELOW FOR THE DETAILS.

You will be supporting multiple projects, and must be flexible and able to multi-task many proposals at the same time. You must quickly change focus as customers needs dictate.

You will be reviewing/editing some technical requirements, statements of work and proposal and must focus on overall quality.

Importantly, you must have a “backbone” and be able to push back constructively. You must also be detail oriented and have large proposal experience.

The most successful candidate will have come from a defense hardware product background.

**US CITIZENS REQUIRED**

**Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.**

You must have strong writing, editing and speaking skills.

Some tools that are helpful (but not necessary) for you to know are Arbortext, Immedius or Robohelp, although most of the work is done in the MS Office suite.
