Job Listing: Recruiting Coordinator
Are you a stellar, self-motivated recruiter looking for a new challenge? If so, keep reading! Our client is a publicly traded company, leader in its industry seeking for a contract Recruiting Coordinator.
This position is accountable for all of the administrative and operational procedures required to support the recruiting efforts. Utilizing technology tools, this position will be responsible for generating resumes and applications, screening resumes and applications, pre-screening selected candidates and communicating and coordinating with Hiring Managers and Human Resources Representatives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*Enter and maintain all relevant candidate data such as notes, status changes, and communication with applicants on a regular basis to ensure the most up to date information is in the system. *Ensure proper data entry and updating of information in the system on applicants and job openings.
*Enter job descriptions in the job library and ensure they are updated as needed. Enter job openings completely and accurately and maintain the notes and other related information attached to each job opening to ensure this information has the most current information.
*Manage the administrative processes for advertising job openings such as posting job openings on various job boards and/or utilizing other print media.
*Review applicants for each job opening and evaluate their qualifications to determine the most appropriate candidates to forward to Human Resources Representatives and hiring managers. *Conduct searches to generate potential candidates for review. *Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. *Pre-screen applicants thoroughly via telephone to determine job fit for the particular job opening.
*Provide thorough written summaries of candidates.
*Leverages online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
*Use the system to retrieve existing reports and develop ad hoc reports as requested by the management or recruiting team members.
*Provide administrative support and coordinate career fairs and related activities.
*Maintain a library resources for others involved in the process, including interview templates, guidelines, etc., in accordance with Company standards and legal guidelines.
*Generating reports for management of related statistics, including cost per hire, time per hire, hiring success rate, sources, etc. *Provide complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position.
*Maintain and promote the highest level of professionalism and business ethics.

Required Skills
*Associate Degree preferred. 2.5+ years of HR experience.
*Computer proficiency, including demonstrated efficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software; Microsoft Suite preferred. Proficient user of PeopleSoft or other HRIS system.
*Demonstrated and proven exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail.
*Proven ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Demonstrated ability/experience extracting data from various technologies in order to gather important recruiting statistics/metrics.
*Demonstrated successful experience accurately maintaining relevant databases, spreadsheets, reports, charts, with a preference for recruiting measurements (e.g. cost per hire, time per hire, etc).
*Proven ability to achieve results and work in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent client service/communication/candidate management skills.
*Previous experience supporting recruiting function in professional services environment ideal.
*Familiarity with sourcing through various mediums preferred (e.g. internet sourcing, networking, relationships with search firms, etc). Demonstrated ability to set clear objectives and measure and monitor process, progress and results.
*Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills; excellent interpersonal skills. With guidance from the Recruiting Manager, determine candidate’s talents, skills, abilities and appropriate position; must be able to articulate findings clearly and objectively. Customer-service focused.
*Some travel will be required.
As relocation is not allotted, and as Volt's client will require on-site interviews, LOCAL candidates are STRONGLY preferred. Interviews will be conducted at the candidate's expense.
