Job Listing: MRO Buyer with CPM certification

Volt Services Group is partnering with the leader in the designing, manufacturing, and distribution of ammunition and shooting accessories. Employee will be responsible for: 1)procurement of somewhat complex commodities, supplies and services at the lowest total cost consistent with quality specifications and required dates. 2) Interfaces with vendors and in-house personnel as necessary to negotiate price and delivery. 3)Establishes and maintains ethical relationships with existing and potential suppliers. 4)Manages bid process by reviewing requisitions, selecting reliable sources, requesting bids, evaluating quotes, and making final vendor selection. 5)Purchases materials in sufficient lead times to prevent material shortages. 6)Investigates and evaluates new sources of supply; makes recommendations. 7)Processes discrepant materials and makes proper disposition of rejected items. 8)Approves invoice exceptions for payment in accordance with governing policies and procedures.
