Job Listing: Software Engineer

Volt Technical Resources is currently recruiting for Software Engineers with Aerospace background for a long term contract position in the San Diego/Rancho Bernardo, CA area!
This exciting opportunity will allow Software engineers of all levels to design and develop creative software solutions for Ground Control Station systems. This includes graphical displays, data acquisition, user interface development, communications, human factors, and networking applications.
Specific responsibilities include: Design and develop Linux based software using object oriented techniques with C++ in a team environment. Design and utilize XML schemas for automation, Python scripting for code generation.
This position is expected to last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, and may even go longer!


Required Skills

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering discipline plus 1-7+ years of experience. Multiple opportunities at different experience levels available.
Strong background in object oriented design and development. Strong C++ skills required including use and understanding of templates, smart pointers, and threading. Must have the ability to interface with customers and work effectively in a team environment. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
