Job Listing: Residential Field Sales Account Executive (Spokane, WA)
MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)
• Promote and sell Comcast Video, High Speed Internet, and Comcast Digital Voice services through door-to-door sales to residential and/or MDUs (multiple dwelling area) to prospective customers.
• Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation.
• Perform subscriber audits for the purpose of obtaining leads.
• Perform instant installation consistent with the department guidelines.
• Upgrade and improve sales presentation, knowledge of products, services and rates and attend sales meetings as required.
• Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities.
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding minimum sales goals as determined by Sales Supervisor.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly and thoroughly on a daily basis.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, programming, and various promotional offers.
• Project a professional business manner and operate with a high degree of integrity.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills
EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or the recognized equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
• 2 years related work experience.
• Recent sales experience a must, preferably in outside sales.
• Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills.
• Strong discretionary skills, as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature.
• Valid and unrestricted WA or ID driver's license.
• Clean DMV record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow directions and learn all phases of the cable television industry.
Work Environment/Physical Activities:
• 95% outside environment with exposure to the elements
• Duties may involve standing and walking for prolonged periods of time
• Occasionally lift and carry loads of 25 lbs. or more
