Job Listing: HR Generalist
Provide Human Resources support and direction to supervisors and employees with the purpose of supporting the business initiatives, creating a positive work environment, enhancing performance and gaining a return on investment.
Provide assistance with internal and external investigations related to employee issues.
Provide assistance to open door complaints, and escalates as appropriate.
Assists with New Employee Orientations and Management Training as requested.
Maintains a current awareness and knowledge of compliance requirements and ensures compliance with all FCC, EEO and other government legal and corporate requirements.
Advises supervisors and managers on application of policy and appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Assist with the annual performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
Conducts employee recruitment responsibilities to include screening resumes, phone screening, and face to face interviews.
Provide HR reports using the HRIS applications. Provide support to employee’s regarding benefit, payroll and policy issues and/or inquiries.
Provides support to Corporate/Division initiatives.
Maintains accurate and timely reports in regards to HR metrics and headcount.
Process employee changes using existing tools and processes, which includes compliance with company policies, compensation guidelines and data accuracy.
Assists in the preparation of employee separation notices and related documentation.
Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind voluntary separations.
Performs administrative support and other duties as assigned.
Travels as required.
Complies with all company established policies and procedures.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in a Business preferred.
2-3 years of Human Resources experience and knowledge to include employee relations, compensation, employment law, and staffing.
Strong management skills including proven ability to work well with management at all levels.
Experience in conducting investigations.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent attention to detail and be very analytical.
Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, exercise sound judgment and clearly communicate findings and advice.
Demonstrated ability to work independently under specified objectives.
Exceptional proficiency in personal computer and software applications to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS.
Ability and willingness to travel.
