Job Listing: General Manager (Aviation)

A growing international commercial aviation procurement and inventory management firm is currently seeking a general manager for the Los Angeles location.

The general manager will work closely with the director of operations to manage daily US functions. The general manager's duties include (but are not limited to):
-Manage and develop US operations staff; guide inspection and distribution teams
-Review operational practices and implement short, medium and long term structure
-Assist in building relationships with key business partners
-Manage operational performance
-Work with Operations director and IT department to continue development and to improve information systems
-Develop and coach employees
-Build structures and processes to quickly integrate new customers

The qualified general manager candidate will have prior experience in a general manager role working extensively with engineered components or parts, strong process experience, manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, civil aviation experience is required for consideration. The qualified general manager will also have a successful track record of managing staff, a strong track record of achieving bottom line improvement through increasing customer service and "cost down," experience developing operations strategy in an international environment and experience with certification, trace and customer request standards in the aviation industry.

This is a full time position with our client company offering a full benefits package and a competitive vacation package. The starting salary is up to $200,000 annually based upon experience, bonus is up to 30% of the first year salary and company stock/ stock appreciation rights may also be offered as a part of the compensation package.
