Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
•1-2 years prior experience in a Business-to-Business sales department, customer service department or combination of both preferred.
•1-2 years direct experience with inbound or outbound telephone sales preferable
•Practical experience or advanced knowledge of the high-speed internet business, and it’s advantages for small business.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as this position is responsible for ensuring potential customers understand current promotions and products available to them.
•Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills.
•Strong discretionary skills, as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature.
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to sit for long periods of time.
•Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.
•Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis (contracts and files).
PERTAINS TO INTERNALS ONLY:
Minimum of 6 months in current position for non-exempt and 1 year for exempt.
Minimum of a “2.5” rating on last mid year or year end review.
No corrective action past a verbal within the last 6 months (includes behavioral, performance, and attendance).
