Job Listing: Marketing Manager
Plan, organize and manage marketing department to achieve budgeted goals for the Albuquerque and Northern Systems.
MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.) Responsible for subscriber and expense budgeting and forecasting. Work with Finance in achieving revenue and cash flow targets. Develop and administer local sales / marketing plans to increase subscribers and combat competition. Create promotional strategies to differentiate Comcast and grow market share in competitive areas. Through post analysis and database analysis, develop and coordinate marketing campaigns specific to system. Develop and manage operating budget for sales / marketing dept. to meet approved plans. Trains staff in product knowledge, sales skills and retention on a regular basis. Motivate staff through use of incentives, contests, and general coaching.
Work closely with Call Center management by coordinating regular campaign, product knowledge, sales skills and retention skills trainings. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills
Ability to multi task is a must. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Strong communication skills. Must have strong Excel skills and a fundamental understanding of Finance.
Good organizational skills
EDUCATION: College degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
. EXPERIENCE: 2+ years experience in Cable Marketing or similar capacity is preferred.
Pertains to internals only:
Minimum of a “2.5” rating on last year-end review
No corrective action past a verbal within last 6 months (includes behavioral, performance, and attendance)
Minimum of 1 year in current exempt position.
