Job Listing: Mechanical Engineer

A growing company in the Charleston Illinois area has an immediate opening for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of Solidworks experience.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for new product design and development as well as design solutions. The position is anticipated to last between 6 and 12 months, with the opportunity for permanent employment at that time.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

-- Identify crucial design parameters and specifications.

--Define product performance and testing criteria.

-- Interface with shop personnel, plant and corporate staff, vendors, and technical organizations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

--Must be proficient with Solidworks (4+ years)

-- Clear understanding of scientific methods and controls.

-- Mechanical design with sheetmetal experience.
