Our client, a market leading manufacturer in the drainage, irrigation, plumbing and waterworks industry, has an immediate need for a production engineer. The production engineer will be reporting directly to the production manager and will lead all cost savings initiatives related to molding cycle time, scrap, machine utilization and resins. The job will offer an opportunity for a qualified candidate to utilize their degree and ultimately gain excellent work experience in a growing manufacturing environment. Some of the responsibilities of the position are detailed below:

- Develop cost effective resin blends
- Develop process conditions
- Collaborate with others to obtain best machine uptime
- Trouble shoot process problems
- Ensure and enforce compliance to all legal regulations and company policies
- Assist project manager with all of his/her responsibilities
