Job Listing: Pharmaceutical Chemist

We are in need of qualified Pharmaceutical Chemists to work at a global pharmaceutical company in Lincoln, NE. Candidates will work through Aerotek in an Analytical Development environment within Novartis Consumer Health.

* Chemist will coordinate analytical development and chemistry-related activities for new OTC products under direction of the Associate Director of

* Analytical Development or an Analytical Development Team Leader.

* Pharmaceutical Chemist will contribute to the preparation of the analytical portions of regulatory submissions.

* Chemist will have close interaction with other NCH functions and departments including: all other departments in OTC R&D; Product Supply, especially Quality.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:
* performing chemistry-related testing of R&D batches, validation batches, and stability testing of products or characterization of drug substances.

* Maintains GMP compliant, state-of-the-art analytical laboratories.

Qualified Pharmaceutical Chemist must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Undergraduate research experience (outside of required lab courses for graduation) is a plus. Experience with laboratory computer systems and data management preferred.

Pharmaceutical Chemist will be working Monday through Friday first shift with opportunity for overtime.
