Job Listing: Structural Engineer

Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer in the Scranton, PA area.

SCOPE:

As a structural engineer, you will be engineering and designing structural layouts for heavy industry while managing a team of designers.

Local Engineering firm looking for a "Contract" or "Full Time" structural engineer that can help consult new and retrofit projects in heavy, bulk industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- On-site analysis and tracking.

- Reviewing project for retrofits or new constructions.

- Working directly with designers to get the engineering ideas to design.

- Assessing projects to make sure that equipment and personal are correct.

- Supervise designers and detailers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Three to five years experience in heavy industry (ie. power plants, cement mills, power mills, etc.)

- BS in civil engineering or related fields.

- Must have working knowledge of STAAD/CAD/REVIT.

- Must be organized and able to demonstrate strong communication both verbally and written.
