Job Listing: Lead Software Engineer - DOD

This department develops; tests and delivers satellite communication and navigation equipment. Customers include NASA, DOD, and major satellite prime contractors. Position responsible for the analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment of software applications running in embedded environments. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for implementing the SEI based development processes for the team.

Job Responsibilities:

Knowledge of C/C++/Java, object-oriented software development, and distributed microprocessor systems but may also include workstation programming for test software. Strong communication skills are required. Seeking candidates with knowledge of embedded software. Candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational ability; written and verbal communications skills. Good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a concurrent team product development environment are required.

Requirements:

~BSCE/BSEE/BSCS or equivalent.
~Minimum of 9 years experience in software application development following advanced SEI level processes required.
~Must be willing to work some extra hours if needed.
~Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance.

Assignment length: 6 Month Contract

Clearance - Able to obtain TS/SCI required within 24 months of hire
