Job Listing: PROJECT / DELIVERY MANAGER
We are currently looking for an IT Project / Delivery Manager for one of our clients.
The Manager's responsibilities include :
->Management of the project team, to include individual employee performance appraisals ·
->Management of cost, schedule, performance, and risk parameters ·
->Assess the customer requirements; analyze the architecture of business events and data that supports the architecture; evaluates possible solutions; and presents recommendations to IT management ·
->Manage all aspects of systems analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance, and enhancement for mission-critical application systems for an assigned unit / area / or project ·
->Develop project resource strategies, allocating budget, staff, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation and customer training ·
->Provide positive and effective direction to project team members, and integrates activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts ·
->Ensure that application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices ·
->Anticipate and identify issues inhibiting the attainment of project goals; develops and implements corrective actions as necessary ·
->Foster and maintain positive rapport and good relationships with customers to ensure processes are integrated to support customer service level agreements ·
->Facilitate a positive team environment
Required Skills
->PMP Certification from PMI
->At least 3 + years of experience as a Project Manager.
->Ability to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of information technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
->Ability to take overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects.
-> Ability to ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
->Ability to take responsibility for managing the team that develops and carries out IT projects.
->Ability to monitor project activities; ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information; and providing consistency in content look and feel across the organization.
->Ability to work with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data and systems, consider available technologies, compare costs and benefits, develop project cost estimates, and recommend solutions.
->Ability to take responsibility ensure that project results meet customer expectations and adhere to internal standards and strategies.
