This company is located in Alabama, however this is a fulltime, telecommuting position and relocation is not required. Work hours are flexible and some customer support and in-field bugging is required.

Required Skills

You will be responsible for the architecture and be leader of a small development team of 3-4 people and to be personally responsible for all aspects of the project. You will be both a leader within the team and a hands-on developer helping to realize your vision. In addition you will be asked to:

The ideal candidate also meets the following qualifications:
" 5-7 years of C++, C# systems level development (Not Web)
" Strong Object-Oriented Design skills.
" Knowledge of Windows internals,
" Multi-threaded programming / synchronization primitives, and associated issues
" Win32 API's experience is required.
" C++/COM Win32 APIs
" .NET/COM Interop experience
" Experience with a full cycle of shipping commercial software products.
" TCP, Windows Sockets, and full understanding of Layer 3 systems

Desired Qualification:
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly recommended:
" Experience with P2P applications and development
" OpenGL, DirectShow, DirectX or other graphics API
" Embedded systems development is a plus
" IP Streaming and P2P Streaming technologies
" LinQ, ORM, SQL Server 6. x64 Platforms, Vista, Longhorn Server
