This position is for a Sr. Project Manager to Partner with Program Manager or Project Sponsor in developing project plans to meet project objectives
*As the Project Manager, lead LTS or business-led projects for the purpose of meeting project objective.
*Apply Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to Project activities to meet Project requirements through the utilization of initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing processes.
*Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality; and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfactory outcomes
*Participate in the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of project processes and techniques
*Assure Project Quality Management through periodic project progress, process, and / or product reviews against established standards
*Track and report project progress (performance), risk and issues to project stakeholders
*Provide training and mentoring for projects
*May be required to manage multiple projects
*Manage and report all project financials
*Manages deliverables and activities to accomplish project objectives.
*Assess and evaluate progress on Projects and report to project team, Program Manager, and / or Project Sponsor.
*Train / orient project team members to project management processes and standards.
*Manage matrixed project team members and provide performance review input
QUALIFICATIONS:
*3 or more years of Project leadership or management in various life-cycle phases (e.g. requirements analyst lead, development lead or test lead).
*Formal training with multiple lifecycle methodologies as well as formal training in project management is required.
*Minimum 5 years programming/design/analysis experience
*4 year degree in Information Systems or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
*Analytical and written/oral communication skill,ability to facilitate discussion with project team and or stakeholders.
*Understanding of specialty retail concepts and processes
*Understand the relationship between business procedures and applications
MUST HAVE:
*JD Edwards experience
*Real Estate systems experience
*Understand PO's, Accounts Payable and General Ledger process
