Job Listing: Business Objects Administrator

TEKsystems is looking for a Business Objects Administrator.

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Business Objects administration (Business Objects XI). Must have proven experience supporting BOXI in UNIX and Windows Server environments as candidate will need UNIX admin expertise given their involvement (seeking experience clustering Windows and UNIX servers for BOXI.

Additional experience will include Websphere and Web application server administration and support; however, primary focus is on Business Objects. Experience in Shell Scripting, Dashboard Manager on Business Objects, Universe Designer, Performance Manager and Crystal Reports Designer. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the management of BOXI Servers in Clustered and cross technology environment. Management of Webservers and Web application servers for BOXI. Candidate will manage user requests for any issues with BOXI Servers and technical environment. Coordinate with other organizations for server and Application upgrades and they will also work with development teams to help them resolve issues in report development and project implementation.

Additional skills such as SQLPLUS, knowledge of Oracle 8i,9i and 10g, and web based java applications is a plus. Ideal candidate will have both BOXI and OBIEE experience as they are migrating to this technology as well; however, primary focus is BO Administration experience.
