Job Listing: Simulation Software Test Engineer

Aerotek is looking for a software engineer to work for a client Provides software development and maintenance services for the simulation of threats against seekers and sensors currently in-services and under development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing digital and hardware in the loop testing that shall involved all aspects of the testing process, i.e. preparation of test plans, test execution and the analysis of test results. the testing will range from evaluation of individual algorithm performance limitations to performance evaluation of integrated weapon concepts. The software engineer shall develop the simulation test environments required for execution of defined test plans including: special purpose Monte-Carlo simulations on parallel Beowulf Cluster Architectures, stand along digital 6 DOF simulations for weapon design studies and real time hardware in the loop simulations for flight test risk mitigation.
