Job Listing: Design Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Product Design Engineer to add to their team. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Primary duties include:

1. Serve as the project administrator for assigned development projects. Includes program planning, development and implementation.

2. Evaluate customer specifications and provide Engineering estimates for inquiries.

3. Provide problem resolution to manufacturing regarding specification interpretations.

4. Identify, select and operate lab equipment for the Engineering Lab. Advise the factory on technical matters concerning equipment selection and procurement.

5. Prepares, changes or checks Engineering documents for release.

6. Perform requested Ticket Engineering requirements from Marketing Department.

7. Generates ideas for Cost Improvement.

8. Develops, plans, and implements new product development activities in accordance with fiscal Division plans.

9. Investigates and solves problems related to the manufacture of molded products in a timely manner.

10. Perform other activities as directed by the Product Manager.
