Web/System Administrator

Position Summary:
Our Client is seeking an experienced system administrator to implement and support development and production environments hosting a new large-scale web based application. This skilled, talented and motivated professional will be responsible for design, installation and monitoring these environments and the applications running on them, testing and performing code updates and upgrades, keeping all environments in sync and keeping the documentation of these environments up to date.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Operating System installation and administration, including server monitoring and performance tuning.
- Enterprise application installation, configuration, and system level application support.
- Collaborating with developers providing input on infrastructure related areas.
- Code deployment.

Position Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience IIS, ASP.Net, Windows 2003 Server, SQL Server 2005, and Clustering.
- Strong IIS and ASP.Net skills.
- Knowledge of scripting/task automation required. Powershell experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of highly available, high volume web sites.
- Strong in web server infrastructure architecture and optimizing web server configurations.
- Experience with IIS sites, virtual directories and applications.
- Experience automating deployments to production environments and windows scripting is a plus.
- Load testing tools experience is a plus.
- Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Microsoft certifications a plus.
