Job Listing: Medical Technologist

Aerotek is now accepting resume for a Medical Technologist.

Duties include:

* Performs a variety of laboratory tests and assays in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations in a designated technical department.
* Accurately performs and interprets quality control testing to ensure accuracy of results
* Reports all STATs, critical values, and other relevant information to the appropriate patient care provider
* Maintains a safe working environment, compliant with established policies and procedures of regulatory agencies,
* Utilizes personal protective equipment, follows infection control guidelines, and responds positively to necessary changes in the work place

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree as a medical technologist or Associates degree as a medical laboratory technologist from a recognized college or university. Certification by ASCP or equivalent agency preferred.

Microbiology experience preferred
