Job Listing: Java Developer

TEKsystems of Central Illinois has an immediate need at one of our client's in Springfield, Illinois. Our client is looking for a Senior Developer to join their team.

The qualified candidate must have a Computer Science or Math Degree with a minimum of 5 years of working experience.

Technical skills required include Java, SQL Server 2005, and a strong background in stored procedures. Experience with XML, XSL, IBM’s WebSphere Process Server (or other middleware products) are beneficial. Visual Basic experience would be preferred.

Duties include defining technical specifics, unit testing, and implementing solutions as well as providing post production support. Other responsibilities include regular involvement in project teams. Ability to adhere to project deadlines is a must as well as the ability to work well within a project team environment. Developers are involved from the beginning of the project lifecycle to post release.
