Job Listing: Architectural Drafter/Estimator

A growing, mid-sized construction subcontractor in the Indianapolis area has an immediate need for an experienced Architectural Drafter/Estimator.

This individual will interact with drafters, managers, and customers and will receive on-the-job training. This project is anticipated to last six months with an opportunity for permanent employment after that time.

Major job duties include:

* Reviewing and analyzing architectural drawings and then estimating construction costs.
* Performing 20-30 quotes (estimates) for clients on a daily basis.
* Starting and finishing quote process and filing quotes accordingly.
* Working with two other estimators in department.
* Performing other related duties as required.

Job requirements and qualifications:

* 3+ years experience drawing, drafting, reading, or analyzing architectural prints in any industry.
* Direct experience working with architectural drawings.
* AutoCAD experienced is desired.
* Ability to read blueprints.
* Associates degree is preferred, but no degree is required.

Standard work week is M-F 8:00-5:00pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
