Job Listing: Software QA/Tester/Developer

Our client is a wireless meter company that designs digital meter readers for utility companies. The verification group is composed of mostly manual testers. This group tests seven different product lines for meter data collection and the application software that supports them. This group supports the R&D group for software applications. These are client server applications, multi-tiered (fed or collected data) applications, and database servers. They have a nine month contract need for a Test Engineer. They are looking for someone with a Bachelors degree and someone who has experience developing tests. They will be helping them start a continuous integration effort to reduce build time and work on the unit testing.

This person must have:
Unit testing experience
Experience with a revision control system - (they use Perforce, but any is fine)
Experience with a build tool-(they use NAnt, but any is fine)
Experience in a Continuous Integration environment - (they use Cruise Control, but any is fine)
Some Testing /SQA experience is preferred
Experience with a scripting language-(they use Perl, but any is fine) / automation tool is preferred
Someone with a Positive Attitude
Someone with a Problem Solver mentality
