Job Listing: Study Director

Position: Study Director
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Pay: $80,000 – 100,000/ year DOE


Responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating safety studies on products and products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Be the single point of control for the study.
-Ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
-Develop, review, and approve the study protocol.
-Ensure that the study protocol is followed, and all amended properly.
-Develop and review the criteria for acceptance of the study data.
-Be responsible for the technical conduct of the study, interpretation, analysis, documentation, -and reporting of results of the study.
-Sign off on final results.
-Ensure that all raw data, documentation, protocol, specimens, and final report are transferred to the archives during or at the close of the study.
-Interview and select qualified exempt-level departmental personnel.
-Ensure that management training and development needs are identified and programs initiated.
-Monitor performance of direct reports.
-Monitor and determine appropriate levels of departmental overtime.
-Develop short- and long-range operating objectives, organizational structure, and staffing requirements.
-Develop and recommend departmental budget. Authorize
-Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices.
-Direct the development and communication of departmental systems, SOPs, policies and procedures.

Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science in a related field.
-2 – 4 years of experience in a laboratory directing studies.
