Project Engineering Manager

An immediate opening exists with Aerotek Contract Engineering as a Project Engineering Manager in Milford, DE.

Job Summary:

Engineering and equipment maintenance effort with primary focus on
equipment maintenance and replacement, packaging development, and value in new product launches. Lead the Engineering team: Equipment and
Engineers, Maintenance team (includes a maintenance manager, machine mechanics and machinists), and Coordinate the initiation, funding and approving implementation of all new and improved processes and equipment in introduction, value improvement (Lean Six Sigma), capacity, growth , business production continuity.

Job Responsibilities:

- Works with the Operations Excellence team to develop and implement a holistic Total Predictive Maintenance
- Program spans across all divisional work centers within the Supply Chain (>200 pi equipment)
- Lead the Packaging Engineering group and initiatives for primary, secondary and tertiary packages ensuring requirements of Mark Clinical, Research, Quality and Manufacturing are met
- Within the multi - project team approach, coordinate new product development, packaging development, product dispensing concepts, validation and implementation
- Coordinate design documentation effort including drawing generation, retrieval and distribution
- Coordinate the procurement, acceptance, installation and validation, and maintenance of production equipment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of goals, objectives, strategies, operating budget developing control
- Provide leadership in selecting and developing engineering and maintenance staff to ensure adequate and available technical and managerial aptitude and to provide environment conducive to effectively applying those skills division requirements
- Identify technology gaps for all PE sub-teams (list and acquire appropriate training to bridge the gaps (both inside and outside)
- Insure project design reviews comprised of both technical (engineer, shore mechanic, facility maintenance) and leadership/management (AM, DL)
- Conduct annual appraisals and employee development review EDR input performance and professional growth
- Participate in and contribute to management groups including Product Planning Committee, Project Man Review Committee, Continuous Improvement Committee, Validation Team, Safety, Product Surveillance, etc.

Qualifications:

- Education Experience:Requires a BS/BA degree in an Engineering discipline required, MS or MB preferred
- A minimum of 10 years experience in Engineering, Manufacturing
other Operations environment with at least eight years in increasing management responsibilities of technical personnel
