TEKsystems has an open 1 year + contract for a company located in Lexington, KY.

Job Details:

Consults on printer services programs by providing solutions to client's information management needs. May oversee one or more program segments, which may include practice development, proposal development, requirements analysis, planning, design, and implementation. Interfaces with client's senior management to assess business needs/solutions. The projects included in this requirement are in the Pacific time zone, so there is a chance that flextime may be required.


Resources will be receiving data sets to work on which will be modified in Excel to generate customer deliverables. This group will be getting the data files, generally in excel and need to reformat it, perform calculations, and generate new files (we will provide templates and instructions), and then turn them in to client for QA. They would expect quality, error free deliverables (once the learning curve is flattened).

The bulk of the work in Excel includes sample tasks such as:

enter and edit data

run macros

run calcs

copy and paste

insert columns

copy formulas

use lookups

There is also a requirement to draw some basic floor maps in Visio walls, doors, and desks) and then plotting icons on those maps.

The nature of the work requires an organized individual with MS Office skills. Ideal candidates will work well in a flexible and changing environment, meet timelines, and take direction well.
