Instructional Designer Needed in Salt Lake City

BASIC DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced e-Learning Instructional Designer to develop training and training related materials. An e-Learning instructional designer (ID) is responsible for developing training curriculum by working with clients, subject matter experts, and our internal development team - and by conducting focused, independent research.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
-project management for design and development projects
-process oriented environment
-perform tasks related to instructional design (conduct needs assessments, work with subject matter doing research, writing learning objectives, content outlines, and other duties as necessary.
-create story boards to be used as blueprint instructions for programmers to create e-learning training courses
-perform within budgets and timelines
-support the instructional design team with various addition duties as assigned

EDUCATION
-Bachelor's degree

JOB REQUIREMENTS
-must have 3+ years demonstrated experience
-attention to details, analytical and well organized
-excellent written/verbal skills
-work well in a team environment and have strong understanding of process
-ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-proficient with Microsoft Office
-experience with Captivate, Articulate Presenter, and/or Lectora a plus
-experience with technical writing a plus
-experience with Adobe PageMaker or FrameMaker is a plus
-familiarity with Macromedia tools and web authoring tools a plus
-occasional travel to client sites

LOCATION
Downtown Salt Lake City, UT

Salary $45-55,000.00 + DOE
