Job Listing: Embedded Software Engineer

Aerotek CE currently has an opportunity with a company in Rochester. We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with experience with Windows CE.

Job Description:
In this capacity you will be responsible for design and
maintenance of software products related.
You will be responsible for definition of related software
specifications, flowcharts, design templates for new projects, and
onsite product integration.
This Engineer will have project management responsibility for specific projects. This will involve customer interface, the generation of appropriate training documents, user's manuals, and additional support documentation.
This Engineer will be responsible to deliver new products, tools, fixtures and test software that help us meet the customer expectations.
This Software Engineer will have responsibility in the use and improvement of our QMS ISO 9001:2000 Quality System.
The first primary job function will involve embedded software development for a vehicle application with an 8.4" display with touch screen running Windows CE on a single board computer.
In the system, all of the components are connected together by a high
speed J1939 CAN communication buss. The nodes operate as a remote
multiplex system. The 25072 will also allow the user to update and
configure the system and upload system update through the use of the
25072. The system includes rotary encoder switches, molded function
switches, touch screen, LCD display, access cover, light sensor and a
single board computer with Windows CE.
