Job Listing: Manufacturing Engineer

A growing well established company within the food industry is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/Engineering Manager.


Major job duties include:
Improving efficiency and reducing process variation through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles, improved material flow and facility lay-out, and waste reduction.
Drive improvements in their Safety Program and ensure compliance with facility security requirements.
Oversee a Maintenance department comprised of:
- Maintenance Supervisor
- Stock Room Attendant
- Fourteen(14) Mechanics of various skill and experience


Job requirements and qualifications:
- At least 6 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering / LEAN, Food manufacturing a plus
- Working proficiency in PLC programming and CAD systems
- Experience in Safety Management and OSHA compliance
- Demonstrated success managing/implementing capital projects
- Energetic/Thorough attention to detail/Effective communicator
