This position is assigned to the Office of Housing, Office of Insured Health Care Facilities, Headquarters. Housings mission is to provide vital services to the American public through its nationally administered programs. It manages the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), the largest mortgage insurance company in the world, which is government-owned and is responsible for increasing the ability of low and moderate-income individuals who are underserved by the conventional mortgage market to secure affordable housing. Housing also oversees key legislation in regulating the housing industry.
