This position is located in the Department of Labor, Employment and
Training Administration, Region 1, Boston Office. The incumbent
serves as the Division Chief, Division of Financial Management and
Administrative Services.
This is not a bargaining unit position.
The full performance level of this position is GS-14.

If you are selected for this position, the documentation you present
for purposes of completing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

and obligates the new hire to take affirmative steps to resolve any
discrepancies identified by the system as a condition of continued
employment.
Major Duties
As the Division Chief, the incumbent is responsible for the
provisions of administrative management services including Financial
Management, contracting and grant management, performance assessment
and reporting management information and automated data systems to
develop and recommend to the Regional Director.
Responsible for the direction and initiation of management or
compliance reviews of grantee Financial Management, contract/grant
procurement, audit resolution and management information systems
(MIS) to evalute State's adherence to established Federal statutory
and regulatory requirements and policies. In addition, the
incumbent ensures that essential technical assistance is provided to
grantees in the above mentioned areas.
Directs execution of Regional Office audit resolution and debt
collection responsibilities for Employment and Training Agency (ETA)
contracts/grants, as well as provision of administrative services
including procurement of supplies and equipment, salaries and
expenses and fund controls.
