This position is located in the National Museum of African American
History and Culture, Development Department. The National Museum of
African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is the national museum
for the study and exposition of African American history and
culture. The incumbent serves as Development Operations Manager
responsible for receiving, depositing and acknowledging all
financial gifts, pledges, and in-kind gifts to fund the National
Museum of African American History and Culture construction,
exhibitions, programs, events, operations, and endowment. If you

Major Duties
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the
following:
-Administering, maintaining and updating Raiser's Edge, the donor
database.
-Analyzing information and records in the Raiser's Edge database.
-Producing management reports for donor cultivation and funding
purposes.
-Supervising staff engaged in receiving, depositing and acknowledging
all financial gifts, pledges, and in-kind gifts.

3a. If this is your first time applying to

generated at the end of the on-line application
process. Once you have printed fax cover sheets

3b. If you have applied for a position

Qualifications
To qualify, you must have one year of specialized
experience (Federal or other) that is equivalent
to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal
government performing the following duties: receving, depositing and
acknowledge all financial gifts and pledges and manage financial
database system.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be
given for appropriate unpaid work on the same
basis as for paid experience. Part-time
experience will be credited on the basis of time
actually spent in appropriate activities. To
receive credit for such experience you must
indicate clearly the nature of the duties and
responsibilities in each position held and the
average number of hours per week spent in such
employment.
