This position is located in the Office of Housing, Office of Insured Health Care Facilities, Headquarters.  The Account Executive is a staff position in FHA's Hospital Mortgage Insurance Program.  Housing’s mission is to provide vital services to the American public through its nationally administered programs.  It manages the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), the largest mortgage insurance company in the world, which is government-owned and is responsible for increasing the ability of low and moderate-income individuals who are underserved by the conventional mortgage market to secure affordable housing.  Housing also oversees key legislation in regulating the housing industry.

Major Duties


As a Financial Analyst (Health Care) you will:

The Financial Analyst is a staff position in FHA's programs of mortgage insurance for health care facilities, responsible for the monitoring and financial analysis of a portion of FHA's $6 billion hospital mortgage portfolio or FHA’s $9.5 billion skilled nursing facility portfolio.  
The Financial Analyst works with an energetic and highly motivated team of professionals in performing duties that include:

financial analysis in connection with mortgage insurance underwriting; monitoring of financial and statistical trends of health care facilities;
monitoring financial compliance with mortgage covenants and regulatory agreements;
assessing risks of potential mortgage defaults; and
serving as member of a multidisciplinary team to respond to difficult cases or situations.
