Job Listing: Quality Control Rep 2
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. Perform quality inspections on cable installations from tap to customer premise equipment for all lines of services, troubleshoot and repair as necessary to bring installations up to quality specifications and customer expectations. Attempt customer contact on all inspections and offer quality surveys to customers. Check signal levels and ingress/egress from tap to house and make corrections/submit maintenance requests as necessary. Thoroughly document all inspections with required forms and photographs, and deliver in a timely manner. Maintain required inspection coverage rate of technical workforce and work order volume in assigned territory. Report all outstanding service, repair and maintenance issues to appropriate parties in a timely manner. Investigate and document all reports of cable theft in territory, attempt sales conversions, and maintain case files for repeat offenders. Regularly meet with and update area management on quality issues. Attend area technical and safety meetings. Participate in technical and quality training programs and maintain current, functional knowledge of all lines of services offered in territory. Assist technical teams with work order fulfillment during periods of peak volume, storm damage, or as otherwise necessary. Maintain company-issued vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and functional condition.
Required Skills
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED plus two years technical school.

EXPERIENCE: *CommTech level 3 with Digital/CHSI/Home networking support level experience preferred. Cable Data, and routing experience preferred. *Strong organizational skills. Ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop field personnel. *Above average interpersonal skills as demonstrated by past customer and co-worker interaction. *Strong time management skills. *Four years of CATV experience with at least two years in field experience preferred. *Proven dependability, work quality and productivity record which meets or exceeds Comcast standards. *Ability to work flexible shifts. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
