Job Listing: Dispatcher/Fairbanks

The dispatch representative will dispatch work orders and or information to field technicians via telephone. Work orders will be dispatched to installation and repair technicians and outage information is relayed to PM tech. The dispatch representative will communicate with cusomters over the telephone to confirm appointments, trouble shoot service problems, and process customer request for cable service. Work shifts and schedules may vary with the operational requirements of the company. Hours worked and days off will be scheduled by management. Hours scheduled can include evenings and weekends. Overtime can be required as deemed necessary by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1) Communicate work orders and/or outage information to field technicians.
2) Contact customers to advise them of the technician’s status.
3) Trouble shoot technical problems with the customer over the telephone.
4) Determine the source of technical problems by referencing plant prints and relay information to the field technicians.
5) Efficiently route Installation and Repair Tech.
6) Other duties assigned.


Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Skills

NECESSARY OR REQUIRED SKILLS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work independently without constant supervision and be able to communicate well with others.
Customer service related or dispatch and CSG billing system required. Basic PC skills.
