Job Listing: Application Developer
Our client is looking for an exceptional VoiceXML Application Developer who enjoys working on enterprise quality applications. The VoiceXML engineer will be responsible for the development of Enterprise Applications.
The candidate will write and maintain code in VoiceXML and JavaScript, will use his/her UNIX background to manage a complex code tree in CVS with multiple releases. The candidate will leverage his/her internet expertise to validate the proper functioning, integration, and deployment of the application. The candidate will interact with other technical teams working on the backend component of the project, and will interact with the internal design teams to understand the requirements for new features, and with the QA team to provide input into the testing process and methodology.

Required Skills
3-5 years of software development experience in a UNIX environment
Extensive programming experience in VoiceXML, JavaScript, and solid understanding of Voice Applications
Good understanding of web protocols, particularly of TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS
Good understanding of the Software development and release process. Experience working on a large scale software project with multiple releases
Experience with Perl is a plus
Experience building server side web applications a plus
Resourceful, aware of industry trends, and understand who and when to engage in problem solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
