Job Listing: Project Manager

The primary responsibility is to lead multiple chain reset conversion activity (6 Shelf, 5 Shelf and Precision Merchandising) through effective project Management concentrating on the back end execution phase. The back end execution phase involves completion of all Project related activities so that each individual store is completed at a Gold Standard level. To enable this outcome, the Project Manager must ensure that:

Quality ESL Suppliers are selected for Project staffing; The implementation Plan for each Project is sound and can be achieved as issued; Each Project is effectively scheduled and does not conflict with local Field initiatives; Each Project is supported with a Work Order and Critical Path; Final communication alignment is in place with ESL and KAMs; All Project activity is recorded into the Master Database file; The Hotline team is prepared for execution calls.

The individual owns the implementation activities and pro actively examines each Project applying course correction steps as needed. Superior communication skills and leadership abilities are utilized for direct interface with multiple ESL companies, ZSL, KAM, and DSLs as primary audience. Additionally, the individual must accurately communicate the metrics for each Project during the implementation, and supply post report and analysis information via scorecard and other documents regarding actual versus plan performance. Also, the Manager takes ownership of the implementation plan by posting all relevant communication documents to One Voice and tracking the necessary store equipment working jointly with the Equipment team to close any deployment gaps. The Manager leads the survey collection process, and is responsible for the communication regarding the status of any open Project activity to all impacted members.
